An independent software studio
PriceHQ makes practical software for the people who keep workplaces running: the ones counting stock, checking rooms and taking measurements. It is based in Australia.
What the studio does
PriceHQ builds and runs three products: ThreadCount for uniform management, ClearAudit for cleaning audits, and Faden for made-to-measure tailoring studios. Each one does a single job, works on a phone as well as a desk, and avoids the bloat that creeps into general-purpose tools.
The studio also takes on a small amount of outside work: custom web and Android apps, hosting and monitoring for your apps, and AI assistants for customer support. See services.
How it works
Products start as clickable mockups and get tested on real phones before they're built. Changes are reviewed before they ship, released with automated checks, and written up with a way to roll them back.
PriceHQ prefers open-source tools and keeps customer data with as few third parties as possible.
Three things we hold to
Self-hosted
Customer data lives on infrastructure we run and can account for, in Australia where possible. Backed up every day, with copies kept off-site. Fewer third parties means fewer surprises.
Measured
Decisions are written down. Releases are tested, reviews are ranked by risk, and a check isn't trusted until it's been seen to fail.
Monitored
If something breaks, we should know first. Every product has a public status page.
What you won't find here
- Made-up client logos, testimonials or stats.
- Advertising, tracking cookies or anything that follows you to other sites.
- Lock-in. Exports are standard formats, and ThreadCount is open source.
