How long does setup take?
A few minutes. Your server is created automatically after payment and you get an email with its address.
Why do you need my SSH key?
So you can log in securely. We never email passwords. Paste your public key (it starts with ssh-ed25519 or ssh-rsa) when you order.
Can I change size later?
Yes, move up a size at any time with one reboot. Moving down needs a new server because disks can’t shrink.
What does managed not cover?
We look after the operating system, security, monitoring and backups, and help install your stack. Your own application code and data are yours; app work can be quoted.
Can I switch between unmanaged and managed?
Yes, in either direction. Ask support and we’ll change the plan on the same server.
