Questions
I have a domain. How do I point it at my hosting?
We don't sell domains, so keep yours where it is. After you order, we email your account details. Then pick one:
- Change nameservers (simplest): at your registrar, replace the nameservers with ours:
ns1.pricehq.tech,ns2.pricehq.tech,ns3.pricehq.techandns4.pricehq.tech. Website, email and SSL then work with no further changes. - Keep your DNS where it is: add an
Arecord for your domain andwwwpointing to the IP address we email you, plus theMXrecords for email listed in the same email.
Changes usually take effect within a few hours, occasionally up to 48. Stuck? Send us your registrar's name and we'll talk you through it.
Is SSL included?
Yes. Every domain and subdomain on your account gets a free, auto-renewing certificate once it points at your hosting.
How does email work?
Create mailboxes in cPanel up to your plan's limit. Use webmail or any mail app over IMAP and SMTP. Sending is limited per hour to protect delivery for everyone on the server; the acceptable use policy has the details. For bulk newsletters, use a mailing service.
What do daily backups cover?
Your files, databases and email are backed up every day and kept on a rolling schedule. Restore a file, a database or the whole account yourself from cPanel, or ask us. Backups are a safety net, not an archive, so keep your own copy of anything you can't lose.
Will you move my existing site?
Business includes one free migration and Pro up to five. On Starter, or for extra sites, we quote first. See how migration works.
What uptime can I expect?
We aim for 99.9% a month and credit you if we miss it. See the service levels.
What software can I run?
PHP sites such as WordPress, plus MySQL databases and cron jobs, all managed in cPanel. Shell access isn't included on shared plans. For anything bigger or custom, choose a VPS.
Can I change plans or cancel?
Upgrade any time and pay the difference pro rata; downgrades apply from your next invoice. Cancel any time. Refunds follow our refunds and cancellation policy.
