This is a voluntary statement. PriceHQ is below the revenue threshold for mandatory reporting under the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth), but we think it's right to explain our approach.
1. Our business
- 1.1PriceHQ provides web hosting, business email, VPS servers, website design and app development to customers in Australia and overseas. We're a small team based in Australia.
2. Our supply chain
- 2.1Our main suppliers are data-centre and cloud infrastructure providers, payment processors, software vendors and domain registries. They're established companies, many of which publish their own modern slavery statements.
- 2.2We buy few physical goods; most are computer equipment from mainstream retailers.
3. Risks and what we do
- 3.1The main modern slavery risks for a business like ours are in the manufacture of electronics and in outsourced services.
- 3.2We choose reputable suppliers, prefer those that publish modern slavery commitments, don't outsource customer support to unknown third parties, and pay fairly for any work we commission.
- 3.3If we learn of modern slavery in our supply chain, we'll investigate and stop working with a supplier that won't fix it.
4. Raising a concern
- 4.1If you have a concern, email hello@pricehq.tech. We'll review this statement each year.
