These terms add to our Terms of Service for custom web and mobile app development. Your written scope and quote set the details of each project; if they conflict with these terms, the quote applies.

1. Scope and quote

1.1
Each project starts with a written scope and quote setting out what we'll build, the price, the timeline, the payment stages and what's not included.
1.2
Changes to the scope are estimated and agreed in writing before we start them, and may change the price or timeline.

2. Payment

2.1
Payments are made in the stages in your quote. Work may pause if a stage payment is overdue.
2.2
If you end the project early, you pay for work completed so far and we refund anything paid for work not yet started, as set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

3. Working together

3.1
You'll give us timely decisions, feedback, content and access to any systems we need. Delays on either side may move the timeline.
3.2
We'll keep you updated on progress and raise risks early.

4. Testing and acceptance

4.1
We test our work before delivering it. You then have 10 business days to test each delivery and tell us about defects, meaning ways it doesn't do what the scope says.
4.2
We fix reported defects at no charge. A delivery is accepted when you confirm it, when the acceptance period ends without defects reported, or when you start using it for real work.
4.3
After acceptance, we fix defects you report within 30 days at no charge. Ongoing support and new features are available under a support agreement or a separate quote.

5. Ownership and licences

5.1
Once you've paid in full, you own the code we write specifically for your project, and we'll hand over the source code and the access you need.
5.2
Open-source libraries and third-party services stay under their own licences and terms.
5.3
We keep the right to reuse general tools, libraries and know-how that aren't specific to your project.
5.4
Until you've paid in full, you have a licence to use the delivered work for testing and evaluation only.

6. Hosting, app stores and data

6.1
Hosting, domain names, app-store developer accounts and third-party services are separate. Your quote says who provides and pays for them.
6.2
Where you share personal information or test data with us, we use it only for the project and handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.
6.3
You're responsible for the privacy policy and legal compliance of your app and how it's used.
